Priya joined Burley Walsh in 2018 after several years as an in-house lawyer in a Commonwealth agency, where she advised on workplace investigations, misconduct processes and employment policy.

She now acts for employees across the public and private sectors in unfair dismissal and general protections claims, redundancies and contract disputes, and represents clients in Fair Work Commission conciliations.

Her understanding of how APS Code of Conduct investigations are run from the inside makes her a calm, practical adviser for public servants facing that process. She also helps smaller employers with contracts, policies and fair investigations.

Priya is a regular presenter on workplace rights for community and union groups in Canberra.
