James joined Burley Walsh as a graduate in 2021 and works across two practice areas: criminal and traffic law with Daniel Walsh, and wills and estates with Margaret Burley.
In criminal matters he appears for clients in traffic and minor criminal matters in the ACT Magistrates Court, and prepares references and sentencing material for more serious matters.
In estates, he prepares wills and enduring powers of attorney and assists executors with the administration of estates.
Before studying law, James worked in community services in regional New South Wales, which gives him an easy rapport with clients from every background.
